Middle East surge fees, in response to the ongoing conflict.

A Surge Fee for international air shipments has been in place since March 8, 2026. Effective March 22, 2026, the fee will increase and will remain in place until further notice.

The Surge Fee for international air shipments to and from United Arab Emirates will increase to EUR 2.83 per kg (or local currency equivalent).

The Surge fee for international air shipments to and from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Pakistan, Lebanon, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Jordan, Iraq, Nepal, Afghanistan, Egypt, Kuwait and Oman will increase to EUR 2.53 per kg (or local currency equivalent). This increase will apply to air shipments to India; it will not apply to shipments from India.

This fee is subject to fuel surcharge and will be calculated based on the billable weight of each shipment.

A restricted destination charge may also apply if an elevated risk charge applies. These fee is subject to fuel surcharge and will be calculated based on the billable weight of each shipment.
